Ingredients
• 1.5 lbs beef, cubed (frozen is fine)
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 large carrots, chopped
• Handful Brocolli and top half of stems diced up
• 2 lbs potatoes, cubed 1 1/2” or so. (that’s 6 or 7 fairly large)
• 1 1/2 Cups water
• 1 Cup beef broth
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp garlic Powder
• 1 tsp thyme
• 1/2 tsp Garlic Sea Salt
• 1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
• 1/2 cup Endameme Beans
*** Make sure your ingredients don’t go over fill line
in the Instant Pot! Remove some potatoes if need be! ***
Gravy:
4 Tbsp Bisto gravy mix, 1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet Browning Sauce in 2/3 microwave-safe coffee mug of water. Make the gravy up while the Instant Pot is cooking the stew. Don’t put gravy mix into the Instant Pot UNTIL the Instant Pot has finished cooking your stew and you’ve released the pressure.
Instructions
1.) In Instant Pot, add all ingredients except the Gravy part and stir. Make sure the pressure relief is in the center position. Press Manual, and set for 12 Minutes. That’s it for the main stew. Takes 15-20 mins to start up, then cooks for 12 Mins.
2.) Just before the Instant Pot is done, microwave your 2/3 mug of gravy mix for 1 minute on high. Stir, then microwave again for 30 seconds at a time until it thickens quite well. Stir well. Set aside.
3.) Once your Instant Pot pressure is released, give the gravy mixture a quick stir, then add it to the Instant Pot.. The stew mixture will be hot enough to make the Stew thicken up. If it doesn’t thicken, put the Instant Pot on Saute for a minute or two, and stir until gravy and stew is thickened. You are done!
