Ingredients:
- 2 Cups White flour
- 2 Cups Whole wheat flour
- 8 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 2 Tbsps White sugar (or 2 Tbps Honey)
- 1 & 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 8 Tbspn (1/2 Cup) Cold butter
- 2 Cups Milk
Directions:
1. In large mixing bowl, put flour, baking powder, sugar (or honey), and salt. Stir it very well.
2. Cut in the butter in small pieces, then mix by hand-squeezing until mixture is crumbly.
3. Add milk. Stir with a fork or spoon until you get soft dough. (Add a bit more flour if it’s too sticky).
4. Turn out on a lightly floured surface. Knead until it’s consistent.
5. Flatten the dough down so it’s uniformly 3/4″ thick.
6. Cut out biscuit shapes with a round 3″ inch cookie cutter (I use a small plastic container cup), or shape round by hand.
7. Arrange on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. (Biscuits can touch a bit with no problem).
8. Air Fryer: set Air Fryer to Bake at 400 degrees F, and time at 11 minutes.
9. Oven: 450 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until browned.
Yield: Approximately 32 biscuits.
